Black stared, wide-eyed, at the dark underside of the desk as he listened to the relentless pounding of metal on metal. The telecomm was still recording. He was struggling to speak what he knew he must say. The gunfire increased. It was all part of the background noise that would be the orchestra´s grand finale to his life, and with so much still left that he wanted to accomplish. However, suddenly, there was a new instrument playing in this ensemble as the sound of a different caliber gun rang out from the other room.
